CARF International, formerly the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities recently awarded Sanctuary, Incorporated full accreditation of its program for the next three years. This is the second full accreditation Sanctuary, Incorporated has received from the accrediting agency, and we are proud to be the first human service organization accredited by CARF in the entire region. Sanctuary Executive Director Mrs. Mildred Q. Lujan states, “I am extremely proud of our team. We have worked diligently over the past three years to ensure that we remained in compliance with over 1400 CARF standards. More than this, we have surpassed many of the standards and did not limit ourselves to the minimum requirements of the accreditation agency. I should also state the accreditation surveyor was really impressed with the committed and passionate staff and support of our community partners. Si Yu’os Ma’ase to all.”
